Position: Qualified Electrician
Job Location: Napier, Hawke’s Bay
Type: Full time, Permanent, 42.5 hours per week
Pay rate: $40-$50 per hour (depending on experience)
Pay and benefits: Company car, including personal

We’re looking for a qualified electrician with solar installation experience who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working as part of a professional, supportive team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Installing residential and commercial solar PV systems
• Installing battery storage and EV charging systems
• Fault finding and commissioning systems
• Working alongside apprentices and other electricians
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
• Representing Ecoefficient Solutions professionally with customers

About You

You’ll ideally have:

• NZ Registered Electrician with a current practising licence
• Solar installation experience (preferred)
• Experience with residential electrical work
• A strong understanding of NZ electrical regulations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• A full NZ Driver Licence

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with battery storage systems
• Experience with Sigenergy, Tesla, GoodWe or similar products
• First Aid, EWP or Working at Heights qualifications
• Leadership experience or aspirations

• $40-$50 per hour, depending on your solar experience
• Guaranteed full-time hours but often not working more than 45 hours per week
